Client Acquisition Marketing Lead

Cult Collective is now seeking an experienced Client Acquisition Marketing Lead to join our team.

If you live and breathe marketing, we need to talk. We’re looking for a flexible and versatile marketing expert who will be responsible for the growth of our brand. The New Client Acquisition Marketing Lead is the mastermind behind our outward reputation and is responsible for delivering inspiring strategies and content for all events and contact platforms used to promote our organization.

You will plan, execute and report on a new client acquisition plan, campaigns and lead the creation of all marketing and sales  materials required to effectively execute your acquisition marketing strategy and manage all stages of the customer acquisition journey from MQL to SQL stages.  As an acquisition marketing leader, you will have to be a people person, as your work entails cultivating and sustaining relationships with incredible organizations, including and especially Cult! You must know how to energize, inspire, and build trust with your audiences and cultivate meaningful connections with our community.  This is where you play a key role for our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a new client acquisition strategy that delivers a consistent SQL volume.
  • Deliver inspiring strategies and content with passion and ease that let our clients and internal stakeholders know that we have their backs.
  • Possess sought-after brand and marketing credentials with vast experience that will challenge us and our clients to think differently.
  • Apply robust marketing acumen, channel management skills, and customer-centric mindset.
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution that motivate companies and individuals to join our community.
  • Utilize and understand various marketing methodologies including, but not limited to: Email Marketing, Blog, Social, Paid Search/SEO, Events Speaker/Sponsor, Referral Campaigns, Press Release, News, Content Marketing, Forums and Group, Influencer Marketing, Podcast, and Non Traditional Platform Ads.
  • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis.
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups.
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely.
  • Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies.
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
  • Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly.
  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of B2B professional service firm and/or agency marketing, client acquisition experience Four year undergraduate degree, or related discipline.
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, including ability to present financial results to non-financial professionals.
  • Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity
  • Proficiency with digital marketing, social media, and performance and growth marketing for B2B professional services firms.
  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute/multi-task in a high-pressure environment.
  • Problem solving skills and willingness to learn quickly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite, G-Suite and CRM/project (hubspot) management software.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects & budgets at once and quickly solve problems with great organizational skills.
  • Sharp business acumen and a customer centric mindset.
  • Ability to manage and mentor junior members of the team.
  • A people person, as your work entails cultivating and sustaining relationships with incredible organizations, including and especially Cult!
  • Must be a self starter and nimble multi-tasker, able to handle large, complex projects.
  • Be intrapreneurial. Meaning: you possess many enviable characteristics of entrepreneurs in how they think about business and applying diverse skill sets to tough problems yet want to be part of a bigger team.
  • Be a great addition to the culture within our organization by demonstrating our values and actively participating in the growth and advancement of our people, clients, and community.
  • Be willing and eager to collaborate in person and/or virtually.  Our office is located in Calgary – however, if you reside elsewhere, say Vancouver, Toronto, or elsewhere and choose to stay there, we won’t hold it against you (we’ll just ask that you’re prepared to collaborate with us in MST).  Since we are not offering paid relocation at this time, this position may work remotely.  Preference will be given to candidates residing in Canada.
